NCCER Instructor Certification
The NCCER is the premier construction trades education organization in the country. Endorsed by the Associated General Contractors of America, Skills USA, Association for Skills and Technical Sciences, the Construction Users Round Table and others. A trades instructor who successfully completes the ICTP will be authorized to utilize NCCER curricula and tests – giving New Mexico students a national certification and a head start toward a high-paying and satisfying job in the construction industry.Attendance at the ICTP involves successful completion of 10 modules, including Introduction to NCCER, Evaluations & Testing, Classroom Administration and a 10-minute presentation. Instructor trainee participants are encouraged to provide a 10-minute presentation with which they are familiar – bring handouts and training aids that help in the completion of the 10-minute presentation.
