AGC New Mexico Announces First Annual Heavy Equipment Rodeo

AGC New Mexico and Associated Contractors of New Mexico are pleased to announce the First Annual Heavy Equipment Rodeo hosted at ACE Leadership High School. The hands-on event helped teach students what it means to be a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator. More than 150 students and many industry professionals attended to watch high school and college students test their skills and operate various machines.
The first Heavy Equipment Rodeo at ACE Leadership High was a great opportunity for our students to learn directly from our skilled industry professionals.  Not to mention having some hands-on fun.  It truly captured the vision of the school’s project-based approach.” Mike Puelle, AGC CEO
Students were given the perfect opportunity to start building their network with industry employers and professionals. In addition, students were able to try their skills with heavy equipment through many fun obstacles and simulators.
