AUGUST 1 STP: Managing the Project – The Supervisor’s Role:  Intended to assist supervisors in understanding the relationship between the roles and responsibilities of project managers and project supervisors. 18 hours
  21 Guidelines For Handling Media During Crises
This luncheon event includes AGC’s annual Safety Awards and special recognition.
Local celebrity keynotes topic.
 
  26 Updates In NFPA-70E: Electrical Arc Flash Protection
Important updates to this NFPA guideline will be presented by Bryan Drennan, one of our most popular instructors.
 
 

 

SEPTEMBER 25 STP: Oral and Written Communication:  Presents a body of knowledge and skills that today’s construction supervisors need in order to be effective communicators on their jobsite. 18 hours
  8 Blueprint Reading And Math - 6 Weeks
This class will be conducted at CNM’s Workforce Training Center from 4:30-6:30 pm one night per week for 6 weeks.
 
  17 Ethics In Construction: Point/Counterpoint
This luncheon event topic will be addressed by construction attorneys from a prominent local law firm.
 
  25 In-Depth Look At: Taft-Hartley Trust Funds, Collective Bargaining, Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committees
This special presentation is one of four “Informational Series” topics hosted by AGC’s Construction Leadership Council.
 
  30 Current Issues In Stormwater Regulation or Scaffolding 101
