AUGUST	1	STP: Managing the Project – The Supervisor’s Role: Intended to assist supervisors in understanding the relationship between the roles and responsibilities of project managers and project supervisors.	18 hours
	21	Guidelines For Handling Media During Crises This luncheon event includes AGC’s annual Safety Awards and special recognition. Local celebrity keynotes topic.
	26	Updates In NFPA-70E: Electrical Arc Flash Protection Important updates to this NFPA guideline will be presented by Bryan Drennan, one of our most popular instructors.

SEPTEMBER	25	STP: Oral and Written Communication: Presents a body of knowledge and skills that today’s construction supervisors need in order to be effective communicators on their jobsite.	18 hours
	8	Blueprint Reading And Math - 6 Weeks This class will be conducted at CNM’s Workforce Training Center from 4:30-6:30 pm one night per week for 6 weeks.
	17	Ethics In Construction: Point/Counterpoint This luncheon event topic will be addressed by construction attorneys from a prominent local law firm.
	25	In-Depth Look At: Taft-Hartley Trust Funds, Collective Bargaining, Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committees This special presentation is one of four “Informational Series” topics hosted by AGC’s Construction Leadership Council.
	30	Current Issues In Stormwater Regulation or Scaffolding 101 Two topics requested by AGC members; final topic to be determined based upon instructor’s schedules.

OCTOBER	TBD	STP: Contract Documents and Construction Law: Provides information about contract documents and construction law to help supervisors recognize the roles and responsibilities of all contracted parties, to develop an understanding of how contract documents can be helpful to solve problems and resolve conflicts, and to develop positive relationships between all parties in the construction process.	18 hours
	9	Pricing And Negotiating Change Orders Anwar Hafeez returns to present an all new seminar; this nationally-recognized presenter’s events fill up quickly, mark your calendars and don’t miss it!
	17	Train-The-Trainer Forklift Certification Complete software program and materials to administer your own company-specific forklift and lift training program; train-the-trainer certification.
	23	Soft Tissue Injury Prevention This “Train the Trainer” program from Zurich and AGC presents measures to control risks and minimize occurrences.

NOVEMBER	TBD	STP: Planning and Scheduling: Helps construction supervisors understand the important role that planning and schedule plays in the successful completion of a construction project.	18 hours
	13-14	Train-The-Trainer: STP Leadership & Motivation Intensive 2-day class to certify STP trainers using the AGC Leadership and Motivation Unit as instruction tool.
	14	Estimating Academy AGC and American Society of Professional Estimators partner to deliver basic, intermediate and advanced seminars.
	TBD	Marketing For Success Symposium -- 4 Sessions (November/December) Four intensive workshops present tools contractors can use to brand their company, heighten corporate identity and employ time tested marketing principles for success.
