Safety Alert! Crane Safety - Manitowoc Service Bulletin

Manitowoc has issued a service bulletin on possible defects in chord walls in Model 16000 #58 boom sections, #59A mast sections, and #59A Luffing jib sections. Use of sections with non-conforming chords could result in boom, mast, or Luffing jib failure, leading to possible serious injury, death, and property damage. Cranes with such sections should be shut down immediately to correct defective chord wall sections. Download a copy of the service bulletin.
