AGC New Mexico and Lisa Cooley Associates have partnered to produce a Job Order Contract and Line Item Estimating Workshop to ensure that the construction industry is fully prepared to bid on these contracts.  Mark Powell, Principal of The JOC Group and an expert in line item estimating and coefficient development, will lead the full-day workshop after an Intro to JOC by Lisa Cooley.  Al Sena of Rio Rancho Public Schools will provide an owner's perspective on JOC during the lunch break.  Participants will be introduced to leading JOC estimating software and will receive a demo disk for hands-on exercises.  This workshop will be useful to contractors using all line item estimating methodologies, as well as owners who want to better understand the line item estimates they receive for approval.

AGC’s JOC and Line Item Estimating Workshop will run from 8am to 5pm oThursday, June 13th - well in advance of the June 21st JOC proposal deadline.  Register here.
