Participate in Annual Employee Benefits Survey

The AGC New Mexico, with co-sponsors Albuquerque Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., American Subcontractors Association, and the New Mexico Chapter of the National Underground Contractors Association have combined forces to promote and conduct the 14th annual Employee Benefits Survey.

You asked, and we responded – the Employee Benefits Survey has been revamped, modernized and streamlined!  Again this year, our survey data will be collected electronically.  Click here for a printable copy of the survey (also attached)to ease the gathering of your information before completing the survey online. 

The electronic version was designed with confidentiality in mind, so you will not enter any contact information during the data entry process.  Once the survey data is submitted, you will be redirected to a completely separate confirmation page to provide your contact information. 

Also new this year, all respondents who complete the confirmation form will be entered into a drawing to receive a free i-Pad*.  Please note:  you must complete the survey AND the confirmation form to be entered in the drawing and receive your free copy of the survey results.  The winner will be announced at the CFMA meeting immediately following survey publication.

With your help and just a few minutes of your valuable time, we will continue to strive to provide timely and reliable information relating to the current trends in compensation and benefits provided to construction personnel. The survey package will include an Economic Forecast piece written by Kenneth Simonson, the Chief Economist of Associated General Contractors of America.

The survey is based on responses provided by you and can be a valuable analytical tool for comparing your company’s benefits with other comparable companies.  In today’s competitive market, a guideline of salaries and benefits provided by the industry can be very valuable.  The more responses we receive, the more meaningful the compiled data becomes.

Participation in the survey is voluntary and the survey results will be provided electronically at no cost to survey participants.  If you completed the survey and would like your complimentary copy of the survey results, just complete the Confirmation Page that appears after your survey submission.  Copies of the survey will be available to non-participants for $150.  If you know of someone who would like to participate but did not receive an invitation, please have them call Kris Romero at 505-270-3026, or via e-mail at

All information you report on the survey will be treated as confidential and proprietary.  It will only be used in the aggregate with other respondents.  The results of the survey will be summarized by Ricci & Company LLC, Independent Certified Public Accountants and Consultants.  All responses are completely anonymous.  Neither Committee Members nor any sponsor agency representatives are privy to individual responses.

We urge you to commit less than thirty minutes to complete the survey by November 15, 2011The survey link will be closed after that time, and no more responses will be collected.  The responses will be compiled and the results issued by December 10, 2011.  All responses will be held in strictest confidence.
