Beat the Heat!  OSHA Campaigns to Prevent Heat Illness

It's springtime in our region, but you really wouldn’t know it from the 90+ degree temperatures and continued drought environment. A long hot summer is right around the corner officially starting June 21st. In preparation for these threatening conditions, OSHA has renewed its alliance with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) to promote best practices for reducing and preventing worker exposures to health and physical hazards.

WATER - REST – SHADE are the key components of OSHA's Campaign to Prevent Heat Illness in Outdoor Workers. Click Here to visit OSHA's website to view the news release and learn more about this life saving campaign.

Remember - heat illness can be deadly! These illnesses and deaths are preventable, so carefully consider all precautions and PREPARE NOW FOR A SAFER SUMMER!
