Mandatory White Lining for a regular 10 day ticket

 

Just a reminder that NM Public Regulatory Commission adopted amendments to the Rules Governing Pipeline Safety General Provisions which includes Mandatory White Lining for a regular 10 day ticket, and also requires a call to 811 if damage occurs. Final Rule Amendments

This rule is broken into 2 parts:

1) In every incorporated area….the excavator shall pre-mark the actual intended excavation route or sites in that area in accordance with APWA marking guidelines to communicate to facility owners where the actual excavation will take place for standard ten (10) working day ticket requests only.

2) [in all other areas] When an excavation site cannot be clearly and adequately identified on the located ticket, the excavator shall pre-mark the actual intended excavation route or sites in that area in accordance with APWA marking guidelines to communicate to facility owners where the actual excavation will take place for standard ten (10) working day ticket requests only.
