If we received a grant of $5,000 or more from ‪#‎GreatGrantGiveaway, we could address the projected regional workforce shortage and the gap in available skilled workers. We will invest the resources in our new state-of-the-art career and economic center to expand capacity in delivering statewide training, online learning opportunities and industry-driven curriculum. Expanding the network of job seekers, education institutions and employers that can be connected to support local workforce development efforts will facilitate job creation and economic development.

This is important because workforce development in our large and diverse state must be addressed via flexible and cost effective online and hybrid learning platforms.

‪#‎AGCNM applied innovative practices to meet the unique culture and characteristics of New Mexico’s construction industry. #AGCNM has established workforce development models through activities such as the establishment of‪#‎ACELeadershipHighSchool in Albuquerque, Construction Technologies Endowment in honor of Robert Stamm at CNM, and AGC UNM Endowment in Construction Management.

Increased internal capacity of the organization by aligning process and programs will meet and exceed future state-wide workforce development needs.
