2010 Wage Rates in Effect, 2011 Wage Rates Rescinded by NM DWS

AGC Members,

On Friday, June 10, the Labor Relations Division of the New Mexico Department of Workforce solutions issued a letter rescinding the 2011 Prevailing Wage rates and reverting to the 2010 rates.  Here is the 2010 Prevailing Wage rate table.

You will see in the letter and its two appendices that the process for determining the 2011 rates is being called into question by the current administration. Therefore, they are exercising their authority to return to the 2010 rates pending the promulgation of rules for a new process to determine the 2011 rates.

We wanted you to have this information and its background material quickly. We will keep you posted on our efforts and participation in the process for defining a new Prevailing Wage determination process.

Here is a helpful link to the State's public works minimum wage website.
